If we have to be stuck at the dock (and we are so thankful for the medical team that has kept me walking; not complaining though it is a change from what we had planned to be doing), and we are homeschooling US History this year, and we are reading about colonization and the native Americans, AND we happen to be super close to Jamestown – away we go! We all had a really good time, even those of us who weren’t expecting to.

Boat chores included cleaning the dinghy. We are still awaiting our liferaft, and are also in line to get the gel coat touched up on the bow. Not sure where Two Fish’s injury came from as she came with it. 🤷🏻♀️ But we’ll get her patched up and ready! We are super excited to have a mini ‘Antares University’ scheduled in a few weeks. We are having an Antares-owner coming to work with us for two days, going over some maneuvering and systems. Yay! I’d also like to give a high five for buying a missing cord that shows us that the solar panels are actually working. Yay power! (We are on shore power at the dock and don’t need solar at the moment, but we had no idea if they were functional – now we know they do!)
